It does not have to be
a job yet.
“Is this even something you do?” is a fine place to start. Working out what the problem actually is — that is part of the job too. The person who replies is the same person you will meet afterwards.
By form or by email — either is fine.
We reply on whichever one you used.
Before you write.
The things people tend to wonder about before sending, answered in advance.
Nothing is decided yet — can I still get in touch?
Yes. “Is this even something you do?” is a fine place to start. Having the goal, a site you like the look of, and a rough timing makes things move faster, but if you do not have those, working them out is part of the job.
Can I ask for just one small fix?
Yes. Swapping some wording, straightening out a broken layout — small fixes from ¥3,000, one at a time. Send us the URL of the page and what you want it to do instead; that is enough.
Can you work with clients outside Tokyo, or outside Japan?
Yes. Meetings are online as standard and we correspond in English. Building, fixing, maintenance, analytics and AI search work are all done remotely, so where you are does not matter.
Is there anything you cannot do from a distance?
Photography and video. We film in Japan, mainly the greater Tokyo area, and we do not travel overseas to shoot. If you need filming in your own country, hire a local crew — we will happily edit what they shoot and put it on your site.
Can you fix or take over a site built by someone else?
Yes. WordPress, Color Me Shop and the rest — we look at the current state first and then quote. It is fine if you can no longer reach whoever built it.
Is it all right to ask for a quote only?
Perfectly all right. Quotes are free and come itemised line by line. Look at the figure, then decide whether to go ahead.
